TAHRA has regularly scheduled programs throughout the year with the exception of July and August. Programs are designed to educate on a variety of HR topics, from small employers where the HR professional wears many hats to large employers with many HR professionals. TAHRA is a SHRM Recertification Provider and an HRCI Approved Provider.

About the Session

Facilitating a healthy work environment is an essential part of supporting satisfaction in employees as well as attracting and retaining talent. Additionally, healthier employees miss less work and are more productive.With an aging workforce that is more likely to have health concerns and pain, it behooves employers to create a work environment which does not contribute to commonly occurring injuries and health conditions.

In this seminar, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Ergonomic Assessment Specialist Aubrey Jabour will discuss why employee health matters and give you strategies to implement with your team.

Seminar includes:

  • Benefits of implementing ergonomic, health, and wellness programming
  • Overview of office ergonomics
  • Overview of basic office health behaviors
  • Simple toolkit so you can implement office ergonomics with your team

About the Speaker

Aubrey Jabour is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and healthcare entrepreneur who believes that businesses and communities benefit financially and socially from preventative and holistic approaches to employee health not found within the traditional healthcare system.

In addition to providing care to individuals, she builds simple and empowering injury prevention and early intervention programs for employers in the manufacturing, office, and healthcare realms through her business, Northbound Physical Therapy and Wellness.

Dr. Jabour also serves on the board of directors for the American Physical Therapy Association of Michigan and advocates for policies which benefit the health of communities, seniors, caregivers, and the physical therapist profession.
